True Aizen & Hogyoku Quest Guide

The ultimate progression guide for unlocking the S+ Tier True Manipulator Sword.

Phase 1: The Hogyoku Fragment Hunt

To access Soul Society, you must find 6 hidden Hogyoku Fragments. Requirement: Level 8,500.

  • Fragment #1 (Snow Island): On a tree branch near a red mushroom, opposite the portal.
  • Fragment #2 (Shibuya Station): Hidden on the terrace of an urban building with red and green billboards.
  • Fragment #3 (Hueco Mundo): On a wooden branch near the open-world Aizen boss.
  • Fragment #4 (Shinjuku Island): Inside the tallest structure on the second platform from the top.
  • Fragment #5 (Slime Island): First branch of the second tree left of spawn.
  • Fragment #6 (Judgement Island): Scale the tallest rock to the right of spawn, move further right and drop down.
  • Alternative: Farm the Aizen Boss (1.2% - 3.6% drop rate). Server hopping recommended.

Phase 2: Base Manipulator Sword

Talk to the Manipulator Trainer on Hollow Island. You will need:

  • 💰 6,000,000 Money
  • 💎 10,000 Gems
  • 🔮 1x Hogyoku Fragment
  • 💠 10x Mirage Pendants (20% drop)
  • ✨ 6x Illusion Prisms (8% drop)
  • ⚡ 3x Reiatsu Cores (3% drop)

Phase 3: True Manipulator (True Aizen)

S+ Tier Sword

Upgrade in Soul Society at the True Aizen NPC. Required Title: Transcendent Being.

Materials Required:

  • 💎 35,000 Gems
  • 🧩 1x Evolution Fragment
  • 💠 3x Transcendent Cores
  • ✨ 8x Divinity Essences
  • 💍 15x Fusion Rings
  • 🔰 75x Chrysalis Sigils (Requires extensive auto-farming of specific NPCs)

Unlocking the F-Move

Defeat True Manipulator boss 15 times on Hard/Extreme, obtain the Espada clan, and use 5 Transmutation Shards.
